This weekly event is FREE and open to all and we welcome you to join us and support our mission in bringing unity to the community.

No further information is being given at this time. Our focus is on restoring the families and helping those that have been impacted by this accident. Helping families through the process of grieving and re-establishing individuals back into the Lansing Community is our number one focus. Right now, the families need Hope and Love; we are making sure that their needs are met both emotionally and financially.

On Sunday, FEBRUARY 26, family members of the Epicenter of Worship Church from the Burundi Community were traveling from Grand Rapids in a 14 passenger van when they were involved in a tragic accident. Many of the passengers were ejected from the van and suffered tragic injuries and trauma. More tragic, Erasto Ombeni, the oldest son of 9 children a student at Eastern High School and a Lansing citizen, lost his life. In addition, Ombeni's sister, lost her leg in the tragic accident. Many family members are still hospitalized at Spectrum and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids where they are receiving medical care and recovering from surgery.

The Burundi families have blessed the Epicenter of Worship Church, Lansing, and many of the surrounding communities. The city of Lansing is coming together crying out with love and support for our many Burundi family members that have been devastated by this tragedy.

The Epicenter of Worship Church will hold a Prayer Vigil & Community Rally for the Burundi Family Thursday, March 1st at 7 PM. We're asking the Lansing community, family and friends, for their prayers, helps, and support for the Burundi Family during this challenging time. A Burundi Relief Fund has been established to help the families. All contributions may be delivered to the Burundi Relief Fund at the Epicenter of Worship Church, 102 West Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI or given online at epworship.com/giving.

4 Types of Fasts:

• Full Fast (liquids only). You set the number of days according to what God leads you to do.
• The Daniel Fast - No meat, no sweets and no bread. Drink water and juice, eat fruits and vegetables.
• 3-Day Fast - This fast can be a Full Fast, Daniel Fast or give up at least one item of food.
• Partial Fast - Fast from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or from sun up to sundown. You can select from three types of fasting – a Full Fast, Daniel Fast or give up at least one item of food.

Prayer & Bible Reading Schedule for The Month – Our goal is to have 3 hours of intimacy with God each day!

• 1 hour prayer in morning (seeking His will for the day).
• 3 Minute Power Prayers of every hour during day as the Holy Spirit directs (James 5:16).
• 1 hour at night before bed (giving Him thanks).

We will be focusing on prayer for our homes and bringing our lives into balance. Please bring your prayer shawls to the weekend New Year services. The Prayer Room will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM – 4 PM, and from 6 PM – 9 PM on Thursday and Friday evenings.

New Year's Eve service begins at 9:30 PM with Intercessory Prayer. Breakfast will be served following New Year's Eve service.
