Our Core 2017-01-10T15:08:43+00:00

We are a passionate, high-energy, “out-of-the-box” church full of culturally diverse people who are excited about Jesus.

At the Epicenter of Worship, we believe that each time we come together, as God’s people, we experience God’s presence, which releases His, power, enabling us to fulfill our purpose in every sphere of life.

A place where God is worshiped. Disciples are made. And the world is changed.

Preach the Gospel of Jesus. Teach the principles of the Kingdom. And prepare believers to reach the lost.

Prayer is one of the most important things as you are walking with The Lord. We have prayer calls Monday-Friday two times a day 6am, and 10pm. Also, on Tuesday’s starting at 6:30pm we have our Tuesday Night Prayer and Worship Service in the Fellowship Hall. During the week we also have our prayer room open where you may come and pray, meditate, and reflect with The Lord.

Discipleship is one of the main core elements that Jesus focused on while on earth as He discipled 12 men that we know as the 12 Disciples. It is important to be discipline in the Word of God so that you will be light to the world. We offer many resources that will get you discipled, whether you’re a new believer, just coming back to The Lord, or ready to go deeper into God.

New Members
If you are a new member of EOW the New Members Class is a great place to start as you get to know our church, who we are, what we believe, your gifts, and the opportunity to learn and get connected with the various ministries that we offer.

First Steps
Maybe you have never been in church before and this whole “Jesus walk” is new for you. We have exciting news to tell you…that’s okay. That is what First Steps is for, to teach you the principles of being a Christian and a place to build a foundation as you begin your walk. In First Steps you will be connected with another believer to walk with you and guide you, instruct, you and grow with you as you learn the foundations.

A Discipleship Journey
A Discipleship Journey is 52 week one on one or group discipleship that helps you learn about the character of God, His Attributes, Grace of God, Spiritual Warfare, and Discipling others. We have partnered with Dave Buehring founder of A Discipleship Journey who has created the curriculum.

A Discipleship Journey (ADJ) is a Scripturally sound, proven and practical resource to aid individuals, leaders and churches in obeying Jesus’ command to ‘make disciples’. It provides you with a deliberate one-year formational journey which can result in real life transformation when used as a tool to apply Scripture, walking in relationship with others and obeying what the Holy Spirit is revealing. And, in the end, it equips you with the ability to reproduce disciple-makers for the rest of your life!

Evangelism is what we are called to do as Christ-follower. We use a variety of methods to not just reach out to the community, but to go out into the community through the following: GiveBack for A Kid (school supplies for those in the area), Compassionatefest (food to families in need during Thanksgiving) just to list a few and more.

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:16)
There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our father, in His Son Jesus christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. (Deuteronomy 6.4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Our basic and fundamental doctrine shall be the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of of Jesus christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with fruit, gifts, and signs to follow as the Spirit gives. (Galatians 5:22-23; Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:3-5; Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 3:20,21; Mark 16:16; Titus 3:5)
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy spirit (resurrection). (1 Corinthians 12:8-10; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4)
As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship god joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10)
Jesus christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgement. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
